Summary/Objective
 
We are currently seeking a Sander/Polisher Team Member to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to interface with multiple facets of the business including client services, services, sales, marketing and manufacturing. 

Space/Craft Worldwide Inc. manufactures window displays for high-end retailers. We are offering a terrific growth opportunity to become a Sander/Polisher Team Member in a new, fast growing, visual design firm in Edgewood, NY. Space/Craft Worldwide Inc. was born out of the need to engage physically with different materials and methods to cultivate gloriously engaging environments. The team here is diverse and comprised of designers, fabricators, thinkers, and committed souls who believe that the challenge is the fun. 

Essential Functions 
· Must be able to Sand, MDF, solid wood, plastics and metals. 
· Have knowledge of different types of finishes. 
· Polish metal and acrylic 
· Must have the ability to grind pieces down and prep for polishing 

Education and Experience 
High School graduate or equivalent Experience working in dangerous or hazardous environments such as working at heights, using ladders, and working around equipment. 

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 
Must also be self-motivated, highly detail-oriented & have flexible availability. If you are looking for an environment in which you can challenge yourself and develop new skills in a collaborative, team-based environment. 

Hours 
This is a full-time position. Flexible hours are required with occasional overtime.
